The Ibizan Juan Fluxà founded the family business Destilerías Ibiza in order to promote the richness of the most traditional products of the land and the Ibizan sea, such as herbs and liquors, updated with a touch of modernity to be able to enjoy them through the five senses.
Destilerías Ibiza was born from the passion for land, local plants and artisan work that Juan acquired over the years in his family environment. Juan Fluxà falled in love with Ibizan traditions and became one of the biggest defenders of the local products of the island.
The Hierbas Ibicencas Fluxà, of own elaboration, is a traditional spirit drink of Ibiza and Formentera made with the careful maceration, on the basis of 70º ethyl alcohol from agricultural origins, of different local plants such as fennel, thyme, rosemary, lemon verbena, lavender , rue, eucalyptus, chamomile, juniper with berries, oregano, mint, spearmint, leaves and lemon and orange peel, and sage in the presence of other plants such as star anise or badian and green anise or pimpinella anisum.
